After years of immersing myself in writing and curatorial work, I felt an urge to step away—to reconnect with the tactile joy of creating with my hands. My inspiration came from the kaleidoscopic fashion I encountered at music festivals across the U.S. since moving here in 2013. The accessories and outfits were bold, joyful, and unafraid—an uninhibited celebration of self-expression. That spirit of freedom stayed with me. What began as an experiment with embellished sunglasses soon evolved into a full-fledged exploration of headpieces. Every piece was handcrafted by me, with materials I thoughtfully sourced during my travels to India. There was something deeply fulfilling about shaping each design from scratch—each one a wearable work of art. As The Cooling Glass Company began to gain momentum, I honed the brand’s aesthetic and vision. Encouraged by enthusiastic feedback and loyal, returning customers, I developed my first formal collection—one I was eager to present visually. Since then, I’ve taken immense pride in creatively directing and styling each shoot, weaving together storytelling, fashion, and atmosphere. Running a small business requires adaptability, but for a multidisciplinary creative like me, it’s also an opportunity. From designing the pieces to curating the visual identity, I’ve relished every step of bringing this brand to life—watching ideas once sparked by festival fields transform into something tangible, expressive, and uniquely mine. https://www.instagram.com/thecoolingglasscompany/
